Floyd is riding again to help raise money for the TLHS! Floyd is riding his bike 4,000 miles through a bunch of different midwest and eastern states that he has not visited before. His hope is to help raise $2,000 for our Humane Society so we can purchase and install a large cover for our outdoor dog yard to keep the dogs sheltered from the rain, snow and hot sun.
We received a $500 Community Grant from the Rotary Club of Saranac Lake in 2016 to help us with this dog yard cover project. This project is still on our "wish list" and now Floyd wants to raise the remaining money so we can complete it.
Floyd left his home in Lake Clear, NY on May 15th and started his trip. He will be riding through the following states: New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey. Floyd plans to complete his ride in July 2017.
This 2017 bike ride is in memory of Floyd and Martha's son Christopher Lampart who was killed in a tragic automobile accident in January 2014, only a few short months after Floyd returned from his bike ride around the USA.
Please help Floyd reach his $2,000 fundraising goal by making a tax deductible donation today. For more information please contact our Humane Society's office.

With you help we will be able to continue this program and reduce the number of unwanted litters of animals in the Tri-Lakes area communities.
The Tri-Lakes Humane Society provides help to stray, abandoned and unwanted animals everyday. Some of these animals are found injured or ill, and in need of emergency Veterinary care. A donation to our Emergency Medical Fund will help us continue to afford the costs for having these animals treated at local Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics. Treatments can include emergency exams, x-rays, ultrasounds, treatment of wounds, and surgery.
Please consider making a one-time or recurring monthly donation to this Fund. Give a little...it helps a lot!
All donations are tax-deductible, and a formal donation acknowledgment letter can be mailed for tax purposes. Every dollar donated will help us continue our mission to save little lives and make a difference for the animals in the Tri-Lakes area.
